CEC: Voter turnout until 12:00, lower than in 2021

The selection of new representatives of the Albanian Parliament has started since the early hours of this morning, and the process is taking place without problems throughout the country. Voting will continue until 19:00, and after this time, only those citizens who are in line near the voting centers can vote.

According to reports from the Central Election Commission (CEC), as of 12:00, the turnout in the elections has reached 22.11%. Out of a total of 5225 polling stations in the country, 2546 have reported so far. Compared to the 2021 elections, the turnout is slightly lower, when it was 27.24%.
