The court hearing for the dismissal of President Ilir Meta has been postponed to resume after two hours.

The request of the majority took two hours to be considered, while between the trial panel and the presidency there were about 70 questions-answers exchanged between them.

The Constitutional Court decided not to accept the Presidency's request to postpone the hearing by one day. There were allegations on the part of the Presidency that the mandate of the judges who are examining the case has ended.

The legal representative of President Bledar Dervishaj said during the hearing that “The President of the Republic has submitted a preliminary request which was administered before the start of the court session at 09:35 in the protocol of the Constitutional Court, and which has to do with the assessment they have to make judges of causes for some other members, because according to the assessment of the President these causes question the impartiality of judges and by law are obliged to give up the examination of this case. "
