Edi Rama votes in Surrel: Let's wait and see what the people say

The Prime Minister of Albania and the leader of the Socialist Party, Edi Rama, exercised his right to vote this morning at the Surrel polling station.

Accompanied by his wife, Linda Rama, the prime minister arrived at the polling station around noon, where the process was continuing normally.

After the vote, Rama gave a brief statement to the media, where he emphasized the importance of the will of citizens in this process.

"What remains unsaid is the word of the people. So let's wait and see what the people have to say," the head of government said.

Today, on May 11, 2025, Albanian citizens are voting for the new composition of the Parliament, and for the first time in the history of elections in the country, the diaspora is also part of the vote.
