Democratic Party candidate Elda Hoti has reacted after the arrest of her husband today in Rrëshen.

In a Facebook post, Hoti writes that Justice Minister Ulsi Manja has used the State Police for the interests of power. The Democrat says that these maneuvers are failed because the power of the people is not stopped by any repressive machinery.

" No political police, no criminal structure and no spokesperson for organized crime will be able to stop the will of citizens for change. The days of intimidation, fabrications and suppression of the opposition voice are coming to an end. Ulsi Manja and every political tool that uses the State Police for the interests of power will be held responsible for every illegal action, for every attempt to intimidate citizens who want a better future.

"These maneuvers are failed because the power of the people is not stopped by any repressive machinery. Those who bought votes and blackmailed, voters are free and are running from center to center, Aleksander Dodaj, Renuar Kolaj and all the electoral criminals, you have made the wrong calculations. There is no regime that can stop them. Citizens, do not forget everything they have done to you these 12 years ," the reaction says.
