"Forbidden!", Celibashi: Candidates for MPs have requested to enter

The Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, raised the issue that today there were candidates for MP who attempted to enter the polling stations.

He reminded them, referring to the Electoral Code, that the presence of candidates in Voting Centers.

"The CEC has received reports from the field that candidates for MPs have requested to enter the polling stations. We would like to inform you that the presence of candidates in the polling stations is clearly prohibited by the Electoral Code.
Candidates must strictly respect this legal prohibition.
They and other political representatives must be the first to contribute to the integrity of the electoral process ," Celibashi announced.
