An accident resulting in the death of a person was registered around 13:00 today, in the village of Bungaj in Mirdita.

According to official sources, the citizen with initials MG, 60 years old, hit with his vehicle type "Benz" the citizen Mark Gjeta, 68 years old, resident in the village of Bungaj, Mirdita.

As a result of the collision, Mark Gjeta died on the spot, while the driver together with the vehicle was escorted to the police station by blue uniforms for further actions.

It is suspected that the attack was intentional, as sources suggest that the perpetrator and the victim had constant conflicts with each other after working together in an electrical enterprise. It is learned that a year ago, after a conflict they had with each other, they were escorted to the police and after clarification were released.

The investigative group is working to fully clarify the cause and circumstances of the event.
