Problems with biometric identification devices have also affected Shijak. At polling station no. 1393/1, located in the premises of the “16 Shtatori” school, the electronic device failed to recognize the fingerprints of two voters.

According to the head of the Voting Center, Orman Vora, the case was resolved by drafting a report, as required by the instructions of the Central Election Commission.

Meanwhile, voting continued normally for the rest of the citizens, but the case raises concerns about the functionality of the equipment on election day, adding to other problems reported in some areas of the country.
