Ilir Proda was approved by the government on Wednesday as head of the State Police after the departure of Muhamet Rrumbullak.

Ulian Shpataraku, who is currently the head of the department for the investigation of narcotics and traffic, will be appointed to the task until the selection of the new director of DVP Elbasan through a competition for district directors, which is expected to open soon.
