Albania votes, national turnout as of 8:00 a.m., lower than in 2021

Albania votes today for the new Parliament and there are over 3.7 million citizens with the right to vote.


According to the update from the Central Election Commission, the nationwide voter turnout as of 8:00 a.m. was 1.81%.

Turnout was reported in only 1 of the 5,225 polling stations in total.

So far, 11,601 people have voted. 


Meanwhile, in the parliamentary elections on April 25, 2021, by 8:00 AM, the percentage of voters was 3.37%.
