Fire in a warehouse in Pogradec, a homeless man is saved in time

A fire broke out this afternoon in neighborhood no. 4 of the city of Pogradec, involving a small warehouse located in a residential yard. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, while a homeless person who was sheltering in the warehouse premises was rescued from the flames in time.

The fire caused only material damage, while the immediate intervention of the fire service made it possible to extinguish the flames and prevent their spread to other nearby buildings. The adjacent buildings were located in close proximity, which increased the risk of a rapid spread of the fire, but the situation was brought under control within a short time, thanks to the rapid response of the fire brigade.

An investigation team is currently at the scene, working to determine the cause of the fire. Initial suspicions point to an electrical spark or unsafe use of a heating device, but there is still no official confirmation on the origin of the flames.
