The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has described the visit to the United States of America as a very dynamic and challenging period.

He called this visit a "war" for the positioning of Serbia in the economic and political scene, with a special focus on the issue of Kosovo.

"The week in New York was incredibly intense. It was a seven-day effort to affirm Serbia's position economically and politically. We made important economic contacts, presented our potentials and had conversations with many international actors. We listened and learned from others," said Vucic.


He admitted that some of the discussions on Kosovo were difficult and that the main challenge remains the protection of the interests of Serbia and the Serbian population in Kosovo, stressing that this requires responsible actions.

"It is important to continue to protect the peace, life and rights of our citizens in Kosovo, preserving the legal and political sovereignty of Serbia. We must ensure our national interests, independence and security. By expanding our horizons and learning from the world, we can bring growth and prosperity to our country," he told Serbian media.
