Berisha calls on citizens: Vote for the future of your children in this country

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, gave a statement to the media after the vote, calling on Albanian citizens to participate massively in the elections.

"First, a heartfelt appeal to every Albanian citizen: today to vote, to vote, to vote for themselves, for their children, for their pensions and salaries, for their work, employment, business, farm. To vote for the future of their children in this country," he said.

Berisha emphasized that he had seen optimism among citizens, who, according to him, are determined to express their will at the ballot boxes.

"We will have a second summer day," said the DP leader, among other things, concluding with the repeated call: "Vote, vote, vote!"
