Vučić humiliates Serbian minister in front of cameras: Not what you say, but

Aleksandar Vučić visited the municipalities that have been hit in recent days by the large fires that have engulfed Serbia.

While the Serbian president was speaking to reporters, one of his entourage handed him the phone, telling him that the Minister of Agriculture, Dragan Glamočić, was calling.

" Glamocic, for these villages... That's why plums and cherries are expensive, because there aren't any. Sour cherries too. I'm hanging up because I'm not in the center of Belgrade, but somewhere else, Glamocic. Come on, just look now at how to help the people who were hit by the fires, where their livestock was burned. We can't compensate them all, but as much as we can, help them," Vučić can be heard shouting at the minister on the phone, while being filmed by journalists.

" You where the cattle have been burned by the fires, look at how we can help the people. You can't give them everything, but as much as you can, help. Visit every house. Come on. It's not 'try and see what you can', but you will do as I told you. No, you got it, you will do as I told you, not what you can. This is the answer. Come on, goodbye," Vučić added.

Due to more than 100 fires, a state of emergency was declared in five Serbian municipalities on Tuesday, while firefighters were helped by rain that had not fallen for two months, since the beginning of May, on Wednesday night.

The village of Dubovë in the municipality of Zitorajë is almost completely burned down, while the fire has destroyed or severely damaged around 300 houses, as their owners have watched helplessly as their property burns.
