The kidnapping and disappearance of Jan Prenga/Clash between prosecutors over

Special prosecutors have been divided regarding the sentencing of Festim Bixhdili, in the case of the kidnapping and murder of Jan Prenga.

Prosecutor Elsa Kackini has stated that the life sentence of one of the defendants in the kidnapping of Jan Prenga should remain in effect.

"Based on the totality of the evidence, we assess that the first-instance decision for Bexhdili should be left in force," the prosecutor said.

Another prosecutor, Behar Dibra, has withdrawn from the previous accusation and softened his stance, requesting the requalification of the criminal offense for Festim Bexhdili.

"Prenga's hostage-taking is due to drug deals in England. The fact that Bexhdili is in the complex at that time is due to the fact that he worked in the complex, Bexhdili was asked by Altin Hajri to carry out the actions he committed. Bexhdili cannot be held responsible for the murder of Jan Prenga, but he must be responsible for the auxiliary actions ," stated prosecutor Dibra.

Bexhdili had different locations on the day of the incident, followed an itinerary and referred to the film footage, showing Altin Hajri and Bexhdili's knowledge and agreement about the incident.

Bexhdili appears in the security footage with a white phone in his hands and checks the garage. After noticing that no one is there, he waits at the garage door. The two defendants wait for the vehicle at the main door of the complex.
