Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja has today sent the Shkodra prosecutor, Elsa Gjeli, to the ILD and KLP.
Manja demands disciplinary proceedings against Gjeli for not initiating investigations into illegal construction in Theth.
Elsa Gjeli is the Shkodra prosecutor who has been publicly criticized by Prime Minister Edi Rama, after, according to the latter's claims, she filed a complaint with the State Police regarding the construction of a "tourist village" in Theth.
It is about several wooden houses and an oval concrete track between them, opposite the courtyard of the Catholic church of Theth, an icon and one of the most visited tourist attractions in the village between the Alps.
Gjeli, a year ago, completed the Magistrate's School and was appointed as a new magistrate in the northern capital.
After three years as a student at the Magistrate's Office, from 2021 to 2024, Elsa Gjeli was appointed Prosecutor at the Shkodra Prosecution Office on July 25, 2024.
