Malltezi confesses after release: Justice has become a political weapon

After months of isolation under house arrest, Jamarbër Malltezi recounts his experience, which he considers unfair and unprecedented.

In an interview with A2 CNN, he describes the entire process as politically motivated and legally violated, emphasizing that he has not been officially informed of the charges and has not been questioned at any time by the justice system.

Malltezi makes direct accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama and the prosecution for rejecting evidence and disregarding court decisions.

" The absurdity of being arrested without being given a piece of paper, who are you and what are you looking for. Secondly, they didn't ask me, so we're not dealing with an investigation into the truth."

There are 8 Edi Rama signatures in the file, there are changes of destination in 2006, 2008, authorization for privatization, and Rama is not even called as a witness.

There is a fear of prosecutors calling him as a witness. We have followed legal channels. We took him to court and there it turned out that there was abuse of office. Rama refused to disclose the permission. Again, Rama, with a court decision, rejected the final court decision. This is a criminal offense that is punishable.

"The prosecution refused and Irena with three surnames refused to accept the DVD where Rama orders SPAK to criminally prosecute Sali Berisha. It has 100 thousand pages, and Irena with three surnames refused as she had no interest in the investigation," said Malltezi.
