A recent study has raised concerns on social media: 75% of people who regularly go out to parties, clubs and night events are more likely to remain single for life.

The research, published by an international institute for social relationships, suggests that fast-paced living, lack of emotional stability and a desire for personal freedom are some of the factors that influence the inability to build long-term relationships.

Relationship expert:

"It's not the party that damages love. It's the idea that 'there's always someone else' that sabotages the relationship," says Italian psychologist Clara V.

The study also found that:

62% of regular celebrants report difficulty in faith

48% feel lonely despite a large social circle

37% have had more than 5 failed relationships within the last 3 years
