It happens in Kukës, a woman with eight children is deprived of the money

The show "Stop" is in Kukës with Mr. Fiqir Lashi, a father of eight children. Since his wife was reaching the age of receiving a pension as a mother with many children, Fiqir goes to inquire at the Social Security Office, where he finds out that contributions have been paid as a farmer in the name of his wife Minire Lashi and that birth report payments have been received for the period 2000-2010, a time when five children of the Lashi family were born.

The gentleman says that he has neither paid any dues nor received any report money.

At the Regional Insurance Directorate in Kukës, director Anila Sokoli showed the register of contributions paid as a farmer for the years 2001-2009 on behalf of Minire Lashi, as well as a mandate in a bank from 2001.

The complainant, on the other hand, denies that his wife knows how to access the bank. Regarding the payment slips for birth reports, the director of Social Security states that they are sent by post and have passed the retention period for insurance.

"I also verified the request that when the verification request was made on May 9, an online response was returned on May 23. The response provided information about everything available here, the database for both the insurance paid and the period when the birth report was processed. For information, at that time, payments were prepared by the insurance and payments were made by post offices, as continues in most cases today," said Anila Sokoli.

On the other hand, the Post Office says that today payrolls are returned to insurance companies within 24 hours.

Journalist: Director, the payroll workers are coming today to make the payments for the birth reports, how many days will it take?

Specialist: The next day they hand it over to the insurance company. The insurance company has the copies there...

Journalist: They had insurance for 15 years.

Director, Kukës Post Office: If they have 15 years, that's it. 2009-2024. I think it's expired, 2025, if it was paid 2000-2009, we're in 2025, the shelf life has passed, so they could have been destroyed.

"Stop" also held a conversation with Ms. Minire Lashi, who says she has never gone to the bank and has not received a birth certificate for any of her children.

"What kind of work, my daughter, has tied me up in the bank, I have never been there. I don't know anything. I myself don't have any money or a penny, because I don't know anything about those jobs. No! Oh, I didn't get any for the latter, nor for the former. I don't know anything at all!", says Minire Lashi./tvklan.al
