From the ground to paper, Rama announces new reform for "untouched

After launching the action on the ground against the so-called "land of the xanun", Rama recently announced that his government is working on a new legal reform regarding the control of the territory.

The Prime Minister made the announcement on the "X" platform, where he accuses the leaders of the ruling party and the IMT inspectors as complicit in the occupation of public spaces.

"Tolerance towards land being razed at the expense of the community or permits with violations at the expense of the city, which have been accepted by local government as fellow travelers of urban life, while territorial protection inspectorates and municipal police have become in most cases part of the problem, will be fundamentally addressed with a new legal reform of territorial control and development, for which we have started work in parallel with several new reforms of the drinking water service, the waste cleaning and processing system, the supply of the people with oil and medicines, as well as the hospital service, which will be the entry points on the path of our fourth mandate for Albania 2030 in the European Union", Rama writes on the "X" platform.

The announcement of a new legal reform comes days after the prime minister launched a purge in several municipalities across the country. The first to be targeted was Vlora, where 21 municipal directors resigned on Rama's orders.

Yesterday Rama was in Fier and Durrës where he also demanded the resignation of the directors. Today he paid a visit to Elbasan, from which there are no details yet.
