Albanian gang supplying London with drugs, sentenced to 65 years in prison,

An organised crime group that supplied cocaine across the UK has been jailed for more than 65 years following an extensive investigation by the Metropolitan Police and the National Crime Agency.

The investigation revealed that Redon Bushi, 32, of Cherry Crescent, Brentford, acted in a leading role in this enterprise for a number of years, with numerous importers and couriers working with him.

He pleaded guilty at Kingston-upon-Thames Crown Court on Monday and was sentenced to 24 years and 10 months in prison.

Encrypted messaging services EncroChat and Signal revealed that Bush had conspired to supply a minimum of 832kg of cocaine, with a street value of up to £81,640,000, across London and the entire United Kingdom.

After the Encrochat messages were discovered, a targeted operation ensued and Metropolitan detectives began work to dismantle the illegal drug trafficking operation.
