Action for public spaces, Qiraxhi: The Prime Minister cannot play the role of

Migen Qiraxhi from the Civic Resistance spoke about the action taken by the government to free up public spaces.

For "MCN Live", Qiraxhi said that the state is governing with shares, a model that, according to him, Rama has brought back after several years.

He expressed regret that the country is led by a prime minister who performs duties with "micromanagement" as he emphasized that it is not possible for one person's economy, referring to those affected by the collapses in Theth, to collapse in one day.

"I am ambivalent about whether we are dealing with occupation or not, if there is an occupation situation we have a number of institutions that should have taken care that the spaces were not occupied. If the Prime Minister says there is occupation, he should understand that the institutions have not functioned.

We believed that governance of the state through shares had been over for years as a model, but the Prime Minister revived it.

The way the law is implemented is very important in a democratic country. If once the tourist season arrived we had performances and figures of record tourism, I am afraid that this year the Prime Minister is missing the records for tourism.

There are all the legal mechanisms to do this through conversation with citizens without creating drama for citizens, where vacationers who are so expensive for the government are nowhere to be found. A citizen told the police that you took my money.

There needs to be accountability for who among these institutions has allowed this situation to happen. Their economy should not be wiped out overnight because this situation is of no interest to anyone. I regret that we have elected a Prime Minister who performs his duties with micromanagement.

The Prime Minister has a number of macro elements that must be addressed. The Prime Minister cannot go out on the street and become the mayor, or the ordinary inspector of an institution.

In Tirana and various urban areas, there are bars that have come out with tents. But to go as far as closing a territory as happened in the capital, you have to get permission for the chairs, then they got permission to lay boards under the chairs, then they got permission for tents, for windows.

This is a process that has been happening for years, in communication with institutions. You can't have the individual you've let build this business structure over the years and leave the institutions out.

"We need a platform so that we don't create social trauma, social drama, and tourists aren't disappointed. All the mechanisms exist for this to be done through communication ," declared Qiraxhi.
