"He has devastated his own nation"/ Berisha: Rama imprisons his opponents!

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has raised accusations this Thursday that Prime Minister Edi Rama has depopulated the nation of young people.

From Kavaja, where he participated in the inauguration of the statue of Joseph Buda, Berisha said that 45 percent of Albanians have left Albania in 10 years.

Berisha further states that Rama no longer has firing squads, but has firing gangs after imprisoning opponents and takes former Democratic MP Ervin Salianji as an example.

Friends, today after 35 years, the blood, sacrifice, and ideals of Josif Budo are a true testament to every Albanian, to every Albanian.

You remember, the situation today with the '90s is in some respects light years away.  But in others it is just as bleak as it was in 1990.

The last dictator had no more power than the narco-dictator Ramaduro has today.  The Ramaduro of today has no less hatred towards Kavaja, towards Shkodra, than Ramiz Alia, the last dictator, had towards them.

Ramiz Alia had no greater hatred for young Albanians than Ramaduro of Tirana has today.

He expelled them, as you remember from the exodus, and this narco-dictator who walks around summits in white sneakers, expels them every day and in 10 years has depopulated the nation of its youth like no other invasion in its entire ancient history.

In some respects we have to be realistic, the nation is down to earth.  Today we, thanks to this policy of ethnic cleansing, surpass Djordjevic and Pašić.

45 percent of Albanians have left Albania in 10 years. Thanks to this policy, we today have the lowest birth rate in the world due to emigration. Thanks to this policy, we have no more births this year than we had a century ago.

What other enemy can do to a nation than Ramaduro does to Albanians?  Of course, we live in a different time and he no longer has firing squads, but he has firing squads.

He imprisoned his opponents. Ervin Salianji spoke here because he condemned the defense that Fatmir Xhafaj and Edi Rama gave to Geron Xhafa for the Vlora traffickers.

Is there any big difference between the hanging of Havzi Nela in 1988 and the brutal removal and kidnapping from his car, beating and dragging through the streets of Edi Rama's political opponent of 37 years?  Of course he died, but this also not only terrorized him, but terrorized an entire nation.

So my friends, today every Albanian must honor Josif Buda, his blood, his sacrifice, with a solemn oath that we will never agree with this regime.  That Josif Buda will inspire us in a new effort to restore the dignity of Albanians, to restore hope, faith.

I will close by thanking you very much, Mr. Mayor. You have a special merit for this initiative that you have taken.  You have honored Josif Buda, you have honored not only the Buda family, but every honest family of this city and all freedom-loving Albanians.
