DP Democrat Luciano Boçi commented on the collapse of buildings in Theth.

Invited to A2 CNN, Boçi described the action as a tragic situation for residents and tourism.

According to him, it was Rama himself who encouraged residents before the elections to build with the mountains package project. But according to him, strategic investors are hiding behind this package.

"It is a tragic situation for the residents of Theth, proven by their extreme actions. It is a dramatic situation for tourism, we still have tourists who have been caught by surprise and others who wanted to come to Albania and the situation is facing a devastating situation and it is a comedy and spectacle for Rama. This government stimulated a situation of building cottages, it was the prime minister himself who said he would give them legalizations and the constructions were done on April 30 and in this sense every person who has a property has taken the initiative to find a way of life and the best way is family tourism. With this push from the prime minister who said on June 30 he would legalize every construction that was done, that there were elections and they needed votes. This spectacle is a scheme and the attack in the name of the law continues. The cottages were not built recently. Benet Beci promoted the construction that collapsed first. An illegal event is fabricated, people are pushed to invest their savings and take loans and in end after the deadline passes".

According to Boçi, this was a genuine scheme before the elections, as he points out that even Marjana Koçeku, who emerged as a SP MP in the May 11 elections, has an illegal construction project in Shala.

"The attacks took place right after winning the elections and after 2 years they are forgotten. How can the government take action against itself when the tourist season has begun? The houses do not need a building permit. The MP for the Neomalësia area has her own unauthorized construction near the Shala River."

Boçi emphasizes that this scene is repeated with the sole purpose of giving the territory of the North to strategic investors as happened on the southern coast.

"Why Thethi and not the south? The scheme is the same, the promises were made during the campaign. Have you seen the scenes that Thethi offered us? Yes, we have seen them, there were illegal demolitions and immediately after that, the coastal squares were sold in the service of strategic investors and criminal groups, and it is the same scheme. The mountains package that has been announced should result in the occupation of the wonderful territories of the north."

But the democrat goes even further, stating that in this situation, in addition to economic interests, there is also a political one, since according to him, Thethi has always been right-wing in history. And Boçi warns of strong resistance.

"Thethi is the heart of Albania's mountain tourism and the departure from Thethi proves Rama's intention to offer the strategic investor he has in his pocket to manage a great natural asset. The mountains package foresees this with projects that he defines. It is a pure economic but also political interest, because in its history, the right-wing Thethi has been that here the main example is given and let's fall. But I believe that it will encounter strong resistance, but that it will continue in solidarity beyond the colors."
