Wanted for theft, 26-year-old arrested in Durrës

A 26-year-old man has been arrested by Durrës Police after being wanted for repeated thefts at a bar where he worked.

It is reported that citizen AD has embezzled sums of money from the daily operations of the bar.

Police Notification

The services of the Durrës Police Commissariat, in continuation of the work to apprehend wanted citizens, made it possible to locate, apprehend and detain citizen AD, 26 years old, resident of Durrës.

This citizen was declared wanted after the Durrës Court of General Jurisdiction, with the decision dated 03.07.2025, assigned him the security measure "Arrest with imprisonment", for the criminal offense of "Theft".

The investigation revealed that the 26-year-old, while working at a bar owned by another citizen, repeatedly embezzled amounts of money from the bar's daily revenue.

The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action.
