The Government of Albania and Kosovo will hold the ninth joint meeting in Gjakovë. The meeting will be held on June 14, news which Prime Minister Albin Kurti confirmed.

"It will be the ninth joint meeting of our Government and the Government of the Republic of Albania. The third in less than two years. This time Gjakova will join us. The agreements we will sign will bring us even closer. In the meetings so far, we have signed 41 bilateral, inter-ministerial and inter-institutional agreements. 39 of them have been fully implemented, the other two are in the final stage of implementation" , said Kurti.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo underlined that at the next meeting a number of agreements will be signed in the fields of education, justice, health and agriculture.

"Among those that are worth mentioning is the mutual recognition of practicing the profession of lawyer and mediator in dispute resolution. Through it, it will be possible to exercise these professions under the same conditions in both countries, guaranteeing the best interest of the citizens themselves" , added Kurti.

Also, Kurti said that the agreement to facilitate the control procedures of products of non-animal origin will be proposed at the meeting, so that the import can be carried out at the nearest customs point.
