Commissioner Hahn to Present Report on Western Balkans on Wednesday

The Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn will present the reports on the progress for the countries of the Western Balkans on Wednesday 29 May at the session of the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET), N1 TV reported.

Hahn will, allegedly, at that meeting present the opinion of the European Commission on the candidate status of B-H.

He had announced earlier that the European Commission would, on the occasion of publishing annual reports on the progress of countries which are in the enlargement process, on 29 May recommend the opening of pre-accession negotiations on full-fledged membership with Albania and North Macedonia.

The progress reports which will be published on 29 May, are the last annual reports for the Western Balkans in the mandate of this European Commission and Johannes Hahn as the EU Enlargement Commissioner.
