The new year has begun with a worrying balance of road accidents in the country, where high speed and failure to enforce traffic rules are becoming recurring factors in tragic events.

In the first few days of this year alone, three young people lost their lives in a serious accident in Tepelena, while two other people died this morning in Lezha, as a result of another fatal collision.

In this alarming panorama, another accident was recorded this morning at the Savra roundabout. Two “Benz” type vehicles collided in this area. According to preliminary data, one of the vehicles traveling on the Berat-Lushnjë axis collided with another vehicle coming from the Fier-Lushnjë axis.

The Traffic Police arrived at the scene and documented the accident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from this collision, only material damage.
