US Official: Serbia’s Reliance on Russian Army Is Not Good for Its

The US believes Serbia’s reliance on the Russian armed forces “is not good for progress,” the Department of State Special Representative for the Western Balkans Matthew Palmer said on Wednesday.

He said to TV N1 that the US has close military co-operation with Serbia and will continue to work to deepen that co-operation.

Palmer said he thinks the US “is a better partner for all in the Western Balkans than Russia” and will do everything to make it clear to leaders and citizens of the region.
