The former student teaches with a gun inside the school in the USA, kills 6 people
A former Nashville high school student has opened fire, killing six people, including three children and three adults.
The Guardian reports that the serious incident took place at a Christian elementary school in Nashville on Monday, where the former student armed with two guns and a pistol attacked the school.
Nashville Police Chief John Drake told NBC News that the gunman planned to hit several different locations, saying the suspect would shoot up multiple locations, and the school was one of them.
Drake said investigators believed the shooting stemmed from some resentment the suspect had about going to that school as a younger person.
Officers shot and killed the gunman at Covenant School, which is adjacent to Covenant Presbyterian Church in the Tennessee state capital.
Nashville police identified the victims as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney, all nine years old; Cynthia Peak, a substitute teacher, 61; Katherine Koonce, 60; and Mike Hill, a caretaker, 61.
