Kurti meets QUINT: Talks about membership in the Council of Europe and political

The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with the ambassadors and diplomatic representatives of the QUINT countries, as well as the Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo.

For Kurti, the main topic of discussion was Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, while for some of the QUINT representatives, it was the creation of new institutions in Kosovo.

"Prime Minister Kurti stated that Kosovo has already fulfilled the legal and institutional criteria to become part of this organization, as assessed by the Parliamentary Assembly and the rapporteur for Kosovo's membership," the Prime Minister's Office said in a statement.

The announcement further states that Prime Minister Kurti warned that further delays in membership are denying Kosovo citizens the right to access the European Court of Human Rights./ REL
