The main parties in the country, the Democratic Party and the Socialist Party, closed their election campaigns with grand rallies in Tirana on May 9th.

What stood out was the significantly greater participation in the closing rally of the Democratic Party, compared to that of the Socialist Party.

But although images and videos of crowded squares may create the idea of an imminent victory for the DP, the election results show the opposite: the SP ranks first.

The closing rally of the Democratic Party was accompanied by high enthusiasm, massive participation and an organization that recalled early periods of democratic mobilization. The focus of these meetings was the individual, the program for a better life, pensions, education, and healthcare.

In the face of this, the Socialist Party chose an offensive and bullying tone. Where Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the meetings he held, began to insult not only his opponents but also the citizens of all of Albania, calling them idiots, autistic and many, many other terms.

Conclusion: The campaign is won in the square, the elections in the ballot box

The magnificent images from the DP's closing rally are evidence of a force that has been revitalized and has gained the trust of a large part of public opinion.

Where citizens came out and filled the squares, showing support for the Democrats, for the alliance for a Greater Albania.

And where did those Albanians who filled these squares go on May 11, where did their votes go? It doesn't make sense.

Not to mention the diaspora meetings, where stadiums or congress halls were filled with patriots who had to leave their homes because the governing policies here, in their land, were not favorable and, as the people say, "they didn't have a morsel of bread to eat."

Now, we really live in Albania, but this Albania was truly amazing and "superpowered."
