Former CEC head on OSCE report: We invite observers, but we don't listen to them, there is a gap

Former CEC head on OSCE report: We invite observers, but we don't listen to

The former head of the Central Election Commission, Kristaq Kume, commented on the findings of the OSCE monitoring delegation for the May 11 elections.

Invited to the "Log" show on News24, Kume said that our country has a flaw: it invites international observers, but does not listen to them.

According to Kume, this is also noticeable in the 2021 elections, as today they mentioned issues that were already apparent then.

"They give me the impression that they seem worn out, especially in places like ours. We invite them, but we don't listen to them. We work a little to implement their recommendations. This seems like work in a vacuum to me. Look at the situation we are in today and compare it to the one after the 2021 elections. We are right there. They said the same things ," said Kume.
