Celibashi: Here's when we can have the final election results

The head of the Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, declared from Tirana's Olympic Park that the final election results are expected to be released within the week.

In a press conference, he said he is confident that the process will be concluded on time, although the pace of counting, especially for diaspora votes, also depends on the organization of political parties.

 "I believe that within this week we will have the result. I am very confident that we will finish within this week ," said Celibashi.

He stressed that, while this is not an excuse, much depends on how the parties, especially the SP and the DP, will manage the participation of their representatives in the vote counting from abroad.
