Kremlin confirms resumption of relations with White House

The Kremlin has confirmed that there have been contacts between Russian officials and members of the Trump administration, but has not revealed whether the talks focused on ending the war in Ukraine. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that certain agencies have intensified contacts recently, but did not provide further details.

Peskov also rejected Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's statement about peace negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, stressing that this should be based on certain conditions.

On the other hand, President Donald Trump has stated that members of his administration are holding talks with Russian authorities to find a solution to the war, adding that a meaningful agreement can be reached to end the conflict.
