December 6 holiday? The Minister of Education clarifies: Learning continues

The Minister of Education, Evis Kushi, clarified that on December 6, classes will continue normally in all schools in Tirana.

In a reaction on social networks, the minister said that there will be no day off, due to the holding of the EU-Western Balkans Summit in the capital.

" Forced by the constant question "Will schools be closed on the 6th?" I repeat that on Tuesday, December 6, classes will continue normally in all schools in Tirana. The EU-Western Balkans summit, which will be held in Tirana on December 6, is an extraordinary and historic event for Albania. For the first time, all EU leaders gather in a country outside the EU for a European Council summit.

This is a great honor and appreciation for our country, but there is no reason to stop the learning process. I even invite all teachers, throughout the country, to use this very special day to share with students their opinions about the difficult European journey of our homeland. Condolences to all those who may have been misinformed by various media, social networks or other unofficial sources and good learning!", Kushi wrote on Facebook.
