Minister ignores child poisoning, continues with 'alla' Rilindja

17 children at a state kindergarten in Gramsh have been infected with salmonella. The cause is suspected to be contaminated food consumed by the children.

Parents protested today in front of the Gramsh Municipality, demanding responsibility from the authorities and control and guarantees for the food their children consume in kindergarten.

In the face of parents' concerns, Education Minister Ogerta Manastirliu has offered a typical Rilindja 'show'. The minister has remained silent in the face of the scandal, and has not even made any reaction on Facebook.

On the contrary, Manastirliu has chosen to sell propaganda by ironically publishing a reconstructed school in Gramsh.

"The 9-year school "Rilindja" in Gramsh, with European standards, new classrooms and modern facilities, will offer dignified conditions for 250 students and teachers, thanks to the investment of the Ministry of Education and Sports and the Municipality of Gramsh ," Manasitrliu writes on Facebook.
