Ditari i Opozitës

A party with a dead body inside

A party with a dead body inside

In a "palace" filled with fake decor and commanding voices, Edi Rama celebrated.

As always…

With foul-smelling words, coming from the dirtiest mouth that Albanian politics has produced,

with a scenography that resembled a tragicomic theater and with a tone of triumph that cannot mask the reality: he has once again stolen the Albanian vote.

What happened was not actually a victory. It was a funeral of democracy, where the citizen was treated as a helpless spectator, while Edi Rama - the master of manipulation and state capture - danced the dance of words on the murdered citizen will. It was a party with a murderer inside. A party where instead of freedom, a suffocating silence was established.

Instead of the people, power had been established. And instead of free voting, electoral crime had been established.

Today, no one doubts that the electoral processes in Albania have been systematically controlled, blackmailed and bought by Edi Rama and structures closely linked to clientelist and criminal interests. From patronage to vote-buying schemes, from administrative pressure to the capture of the CEC and Counting Commissions, from the justice system put at their service to criminal gangs, everything has been used for a single purpose: to maintain power by any means, at any price.

This is no longer an ethical problem.

It is a political and constitutional crime.

It is the destruction of every democratic norm and every civic hope for change.

Because when voting becomes a decoration, then elections are a fraud, and power is a usurpation.

In this "party" that Rama organizes after every contested process, there is only one element that remains unchanged: the lack of real citizens.

One who is invited to vote, but not to decide.

The one who voted for change, but woke up to a regime that spits on their vote.

Edi Rama can celebrate as much as he wants. He can paint false realities, talk about "legitimacy" while desecrating popular sovereignty.

But he cannot hide one thing: he did not win by vote, but by fraud.

Not with faith, but with fear.

Not with ideas, but with control.

On the coffin that stands in the middle of his celebration, there is a name: Albanian democracy under the Rama regime.

And what we are seeing is not a triumph, but a slow process of the dissolution of the state, where everything is bought, everything is sold, everything is used - except the truth.

But history is not only written by those who celebrate. It is also written by those who feel betrayed, used, silenced - but who do not forget.

And when the citizen rises up, as he has always done when he has been denied his voice and his vote, then there will be no more celebration, no more speeches, no more power that holds the future hostage.
