Artan Shkreli, one of Artan Lame's closest friends, delivered a moving speech at the farewell ceremony.

He described Lame as a special man, with a big heart and unparalleled dedication to family, work, and the causes he passionately defended throughout his life.

"Today is a great pain for everyone. Today we are parting with a part of ourselves. Artan Lame was unique, the eldest and beloved son of his parents, a curious engineering student, a devoted husband and a compassionate father. He was among the first directors of cultural heritage, he was a charismatic activist in the defense of causes, as director of ALUIZMI he helped with the legalization of houses for many citizens and an extraordinary publicist.

"Artan Lame was multifaceted. He was my brother for life. He was a distinguished friend, we talked about history, about Albania. He was honest to the end and noble in silence. He had a big and tired heart, he gave more than he took," said Artan Shkreli.
