Residents of Kanina in Vlora have returned to protest after several days of temporary suspension of construction work on the Vlora bypass.

They accuse the company carrying out the works of cutting off all access to private lands and homes, leaving them isolated.

Residents say that 'we are forced to take to the streets. We no longer have a road to enter our homes, our lands are blocked, and no one is giving us an explanation,' they say, emphasizing that even after the minister's intervention, no concrete solution has been offered and the works have continued as planned.

Another says: The sultan knows what he does with us. Can we go against the sultan? We can't. The prime minister tells us to invest in tourism. But how can we invest in tourism? Will the tourist get into trouble? We want solutions, nothing else.

In this context, the situation is becoming increasingly tense, with citizens demanding transparency and an immediate solution that respects their rights to access private property.
