Are there concrete steps to remove "non grata" with Trump's victory? Berisha: A "coup d'état" took place in Albania
The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, was asked again in the media if he has taken concrete steps regarding the removal of "non grata" with the change of administration in the USA, after the victory of Donald Trump.
Speaking on the show "Open" on News24, Berisha said that from May 19 until today, he has not asked for any help in taking steps to remove this measure.
Berisha said that the issue of "non grata" is not raised, but of a coup d'état. He said that the power resulting from the November 5 elections will not agree with the intervention of George Soros and his mafia for this coup against a friendly country like Albania.
"I chose the trial, I sued the Secretary of State for defamation. With Mr. I have never discussed Grenell, but he, after the statements made by Lee Zeldin in the American Congress, has an article published in a very serious magazine, writes: Antony Blinken, agent of George Soros in the Balkans.
And this had to do with lobbying Soros to declare me 'non grata'. In republican circles, even at the highest levels, it has been widely discussed ," said Berisha. He said that he was only hit because I was a conservative, and this was also confirmed by Rich Grenell.
Asked if this Trump victory could bring about a change in relations between the US and the DP and the opposition, Berisha said that he reacted to every development that took place against the Albanian opposition.
" Sali Berisha has taken his positions in the best interest of the country", said the democratic leader, adding that " he has protected the interests of the nation with all the positions he has taken".
