The candidate of the opposition for the Municipality of Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, has published some new documents, through which, according to him, the affair of the incinerators is deepened.

Through a statement, Kelliçi denounces that 20 million euros were hidden through a company in Italy.

"In 2017, Erion Veliaj, through the director of public works in the municipality, Taulant Tusha, approved the 430 million euro investment for Tirana's incinerator. Veliaj guaranteed us that the company had 141 million euros to carry out this investment. Today, I make public how it stands truth.

On December 6, 2022, the Tirana incinerator company expressed interest in collaborating with ETHOS Asset Management in San Diego, to find investors worth 100 million euros. So Veliaj lied. The incinerator company does not have this money.   

The second document, dated December 6, the Tirana incinerator company informs the Ethos company that it has 20 million euros in a bank in Italy.

In the third document dated December 9, 2022, the company addresses Ethos again and sends the summary of the project, for which a debt of 100 million euros is being requested. The document clearly states that until today this company has invested (and when they say investment they are talking about the money they share with each other) 22 million euros, while in the meantime only the Municipality of Tirana has given it 53 million dollars, not including tens of millions others that they received from private business and other municipalities.

So, these people don't have money for schools, nurseries, kindergartens, dignified public transport, social housing, but they have plenty of money for their collaborators, money of which only for the incinerator scheme we have evidence that it ended up in Bulgaria, Malta, Italy, Switzerland and wherever they have bank accounts.
