Berisha: The goal of the Open Balkans was the final capitulation of Kosovo and its separation
The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in his speech at the civic gathering, spoke about the Open Balkans project.
According to him, this project was to capitulate Kosovo and its division.
Excerpt from the speech of the head of the DP, Sali Berisha:
Good evening and best regards.
The deepest gratitude to you invincible resistance fighters, missionaries of the right cause of every Albanian.
Missionaries of the cause of dignity, of the cause of patriotism and national interest.
Your protests are protests for every Albanian.
But they are protests for every European citizen who believes in freedom, dignity, values and the rule of law.
Your protest has been and remains a protest in major defense of the national interest of Albanians.
Dear friends, two years ago you stood up on the eve of the Russian-Serbian Balkan summit, the Open Balkans, in a protest that was noted in the region and in Europe.
Aleksandar Vucic's deputy, Edi Rama, undertook a Russian-Serbian initiative, supported an initiative, which we denounced at its first meeting.
An initiative that was strongly supported by Sergei Lavrov and Alexis Soros, two enemies of the Albanian nation.
With the Open Balkans, Edi Rama extended Serbian hegemony to Albania, Macedonia.
It isolated Kosovo and this was the initiative, which after the division and change of borders, should bring about the final capitulation of Kosovo, its fall into the lap of Serbia, its division between Vucic and its argot in Tirana.
But the Albanian opposition denounced it and never accepted it.
