Boçi: The majority wants to take control of the KLSH

The vice-president of the DP, Luciano Boçi, has stated that the majority is trying to capture the institutions that are against it, or that report government corruption at high levels.

Invited to Syri TV, Boçi said that this behavior of the majority towards independent institutions was seen with the head of the KLSH, Arben Shehu.

"There is an obvious behavior of the majority towards independent institutions, different was the case with the head of SPAK who euphorically applauded him, different with the head of KLSH, a form of violence against the chairman on the way they treated him in the commission. They also want to take control of the KLSH, which in fact has been the biggest whistleblower for institutions, where many of them have gone to criminal prosecution or criminal proceedings, based on the findings of the KLSH. The majority wants to shut down this voice denunciating corrupt affairs. The attempt of the famous "Anti-corruption" commission, which for me does not stand morally, there is a growing attempt of this commission that requires control of these independent institutions. They are building a controlling force, to give the idea that these institutions were independent. The institutions of justice, SPAK have acted under the control of the government, they are not satisfied only with SPAK, but they also want to capture other commissions, Anticorruption. It is not for nothing that he makes the political arrest of the leader of the opposition, Sali Berisha, and keeps him imprisoned. It clearly shows that justice has been done. And they also want a commission to catch him", said Boçi.

The number two of the PD, Luciano Boçi, also stopped at the Commission for Disinformation, which he said will have the same fate as the other commissions. With the aim, as Boçi says, to silence the voices of the few media that are not censored by the government.

"The disinformation commission is a request of the EU, but it always happens like it happens with all other commissions. They want to turn it into censorship of the media, which are a strong voice against the government and do not give in to pressure. Our fear is that the commission will not play the role imagined by our partners, but will control the information coming out of our media. The AMA is completely politicized and captured, and plays no role in cases in the media that have problems. It continues to be supported by the government, and a commission is needed to control the media more. In editorial policy, there are advertisements and protection of government policy", he declared.

According to Boç, these commissions should be established with the consensus of the opposition and with full transparency. This as a form of guarantee, that the critical media will not be hit by the government. Vice-President Boçi said that for the Disinformation Commission, PD will be in constant communication and in full coordination with its strategic partners, the EU.
