Jamarbër Malltezi sues Prime Minister Edi Rama, Taulant Balla and two

Member of the National Council of the Democratic Party, Jamarbër Malltezi, has filed a criminal complaint with the Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime (SCOC) against Prime Minister Edi Rama, the chairman of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, and two prosecutors, Enkeleda Millonai and Arben Kraja.

In his complaint, Malltezi accuses Prime Minister Rama of abuse of office, with a damage of 340,000 euros, which according to him has been confirmed by a final decision from the court. Meanwhile, Taulant Balla is accused of false reporting, while prosecutors Millonai and Kraja are charged with abuse of office and forgery.

Excerpt from the report made:

I am looking for:

1. Annulment of the decision of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, "On the non-initiation of criminal proceedings, relating to report no. 264, dated 18.11.2024"

2. Order of the Special Prosecution Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime, to register criminal proceedings in reference to the indictment no. 264, dated 20.11.2024 for citizens Edi Rama and Taulant Balla.

3. Sending the indictment material for prosecutors Enkeleda Millonai and Arben Kraja to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Tirana in order to avoid a conflict of interest between prosecutors of the same institution.

With respect,

PROF. DR. Jamarbër Malltezi
