Këlliçi: Blendian Dalipi stole 30 million euros, SPAK is amnestying
Member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Belind Këlliçi, has made strong accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama and SPAK leaders, stating that the director of the Distribution System Operator (DOSH), Blendian Dalipi, has benefited from 30 million euros through tenders and concession contracts, with the support of the government.

In a statement to the media from the DP headquarters, Këlliçi stressed that while Albanian citizens face poverty and injustice, the government continues to allow massive corruption at the highest levels of public administration.

Statement by member of the DP leadership, Belind Këlliçi:

Dear citizens,

This blessed Sunday morning, unfortunately, began with the screams of a pathetic speech, filled with ridiculous victimization of the first narco-prime minister of Europe. Just as the 3 resolutions adopted by over 150 right-wing parties around the world, including the European People's Party, the American Republican Party and the British Conservative Party, have already defined Edi Rama as the prime minister who has turned Albania into the first narco-state of Europe.

Rama today struggled to justify himself to Albanians that he is not corrupt, but that it is the ministers, mayors and highest officials of the Renaissance, who are full of apples, pears, plums and figs, setting corruption records behind his back. A fable, which we have discredited in every case, but which the desperate prime minister repeats as the only defense he has left: mercy for a victim.

But today we are before you, as we have always done and will do, to expose with facts every attempt by Edi Rama to wash his hands of the unparalleled corruption of his 12-year government. We are bringing to your attention the most recent and flagrant case, in which the next thief steals right in front of Edi Rama's eyes and not behind his back.

Three days ago, Edi Rama and Belinda Balluku beat their chests in front of Albanians that they would reduce the price of electricity by 1 lek and save Albanians' pockets a full 30 million euros, this just for the 2025 electoral year.

During the moment of the unveiling of this good news and great act of electoral charity, in front of Edi Rama, sitting in the front row, stood Blendjan Dalipi, the General Director of the Distribution System Operator OSSH, who, through his family company IDK Konstruksion and his personal company ABNID, has benefited from public tenders and concession contracts, the value of which exceeds 30 million euros. Ironically, as much as the trumpeted savings for the ridiculous reduction of 1 lek in the price of energy. So where did those 30 million beloved Albanians go?

Just like in the case of the denunciation of the criminal financial scheme in the Municipality of Tirana of 5 directors, 5D, which Erion's colleagues in SPAK could not amnesty, the same scheme is happening within the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, which almost certainly has the full blessing of Edi Rama and Belinda Balluku, because if it were different, Blendjan Dalipi, after being dismissed from office, would have had to surrender unconditionally to the justice institutions today and not sit in the front row, facing the Prime Minister.

The Democratic Party, for more than a month, has filed a criminal report with SPAK against this senior state official, a report which is being amnestied by the justice system directed by Edi Rama.

I call today on the leaders of SPAK, Altin Dumani and the Special Structure, not to continue their silence in the face of flagrant corruption, as these thefts can never be amnestied.

Albanian citizens should no longer be deceived by Edi Rama's lies or by electoral charity by reducing the price of electricity by 1 lek, an amount that is equivalent to the money stolen by just 1 director of this government.

Albania has decided to separate itself once and for all from the theft and greed of this majority, which has turned our country into the poorest in Europe, so May 11 will be the decisive moment for the sovereign to put an end to the massacre of an unparalleled den of corruption and depopulation.

We will get through this together.

Thank you.
