DP appeals the result, demands a repeat of the elections in Berat District

The Democratic Party-Alliance for Greater Albania coalition has appealed to the Constitutional Court the results of the May 11 Parliamentary elections in the Berat District.

The DP demands the invalidation of the entire result and demands a repeat of the elections for the Albanian Parliament in the entire electoral zone of this district.

We recall that the Central Election Commission certified the results of the May 11 elections with the summary tables of 12 districts, sealing the result of 83 mandates for the SP, 50 for the PD-ADSHM and 7 mandates for other new forces; 3 PSD, 2 Mundësia, 1 Lëvizja Bashkë and 1 Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet.

The Democratic Party claims an electoral massacre, while saying it will follow the same steps in other districts.
