Pensions/ Berisha: 780 thousand women and men who have lost their lives, from a budget of 8.2 billion euros, were allocated 16 million euros

What can be said today to the pensioners who, today there are 780 thousand women and men, have lost their lives, and who in a budget of 8.2 billion euros are allocated 16 million euros.

They are allocated, you will forgive me for the expression, in absolute numbers, as much as the Germans allocate for the dogs of the house. They were connected by a German pension, even for the dogs, they were paid 130 euros, you know. Less for the cat, more for the dog.

Yes, why, a pensioner in Macedonia receives 280% of the pension that we receive? And all this, with all the documents, we were ahead of everyone in 2013. They were ahead of us in pensions, ahead of us in salaries.

Romania had a minimum wage of 800 lei in 2013. Read it, see how much it is today, 3300 lei. Kosovo, a newly formed state, declared independence, and pensioners still receive 30-40% more than in Albania.

Why does this happen? This happens because the democratic government, which calls itself representative of the citizens, is obliged to distribute the income it generates with the citizens.

What did these people do? This one froze low wages, this one froze pensions, this one cheated with pension indexation.

Is there a more cynical act?

We are taking the last year. In December 2023, the budget will be voted on in parliament, where pensioners would be given 4% indexation.

March came until October, not a penny. Which was the law. But the government can never break the law. But a government that has no law, is this government.

And in October, he decided, accumulated them, from March to October, he gambled with them and said he would give the bonus in December.

The Kosovo government, what did it do? I will increase pensions by 20%, said the Prime Minister of Kosovo. And, to increase pensions, it took 100 million euros from the budget and placed them in the pension fund. They had 500 million euros, they made it 600 million euros.
