Opposition protest, Noka: It was a turning point of civil disobedience

The General Secretary of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, spoke after yesterday's opposition protest in Tirana.

Invited to "Ora News", Noka emphasized that Albanians woke up after 12 years and yesterday's protest was a turning point of civil disobedience. Further, Noka accused SPAK as the responsible structure that amnestied the election crime in Albania with its first decision.

" What is worth mentioning and what I want to say here today in your media, 24 hours later, is a boundless gratitude to all those citizens who flocked to Tirana, obeyed the call of the DP and the opposition, to implement civil disobedience in the field.

They are the bravest people in this land where Albanian is spoken. They are the most courageous people. They are the real citizens and the real soul of this nation. Yesterday, they ignored every threat and blackmail that the narcotics in power had made for a long time. Last night they showed that they woke up. They woke up, 12 years is not a little. 12 years since the narcos regime had done everything it could think of to liquidate them.

There have been protests, PD has developed them. But yesterday was not just a protest. It was the start of civil disobedience on the ground. Such a startup will dare. They are the hope of this country and Albania will be saved from this regime by their courage and dignity. Yesterday they lit a ray of hope that this country is not dead," said Noka.
