Tabaku: The atmosphere towards the DP in Brussels has changed, here's what

Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku, spoke about the current situation of the Democratic Party from her perspective.

Invited to Syri TV, Tabaku stated that the atmosphere in Brussels or generally abroad has changed towards the Democratic Party, becoming positive.

The DP MP also recounted the debate she had with German MP Gunther Krichbaum. Tabaku stated that the MP had incorrect information about the reality in the DP.

'It's okay in politics to make mistakes and think differently at a certain moment, but the important thing is to always think for the best.

I think that today, the best thing about the DP, as I thought and I thought yesterday before, is that the DP, together, today with this new reality and before the May 11 elections, has the next challenge and everything left behind, let what has happened serve to strengthen and elevate the party.

I told Krischbaum that there could be untruths in his statement. Everyone can have their own positions and I don't judge. It's too much for a political party, and I said that there's no reason for anyone to get involved in the DP debate, if we spend our energy, we should spend it on the opponent and not on each other, and secondly, the information Krischbaum had was not true and accurate even about the reality of the DP.

The atmosphere in Brussels has changed towards the DP, not only because today the DP is part of these forums and has the opportunity to speak and raise its voice about its concerns. To be honest, the majority has taken a lot of space that belongs to the opposition, even on these platforms abroad. Even with this power that they have usurped platforms and forums, they may have also benefited from our absence there. The more information we provide, the better. Even in the European Parliament, when the hearing on enlargement was held, the main issue that was raised there was Albania, from the information that was given to the members of the foreign affairs committee. One of those MPs stood up there at the end and said that it is the first debate with the Enlargement Commissioner that is not about the Serbia-Kosovo dialogue, but about Albania, the elections, Rama who has concentrated all power. Today, we are talking about a reality that requires attention ,' declared Jorida Tabaku.
