Teliti: The time to react is now, everyone on February 8th in front of the Prime

The Deputy Mayor of Tirana City Council, Dorian Teliti, wrote in a Facebook post that while the government spends millions on its luxuries, pensioners barely survive and Albanian salaries are the lowest in Europe.

Teliti has called on Albanians to join the February 8 protest.

"On Saturday, February 8th, at 5:00 PM, everyone will protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, for dignity, justice and our future. There is no longer room for silence, there is no longer time to wait," Teliti writes.

Dear citizens, the time to react is now.

After all, prices are rising every day and our salaries are the lowest in Europe.

Pensioners barely survive, while the government spends millions on its luxuries.

Young people leave because they have no future here.

Billions of euros are stolen through uncompetitive tenders and abusive concessions, while Albanians suffer for their living.

So there is no more room for silence, no more time to wait.

"On Saturday, February 8th, at 5:00 PM, everyone will protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, for dignity, justice and our future ," Teliti writes.
